Linings & Interlinings
The lining is the part nobody sees and everybody notices. It changes how much light comes through, how private the room is at night, how the curtain hangs and how it feels to draw.
Interlining goes between the face fabric and the lining. It adds body, so the curtain falls in fuller, softer folds and sits more like a piece of upholstery than a panel of cloth.
Choose the lining alongside the fabric, not afterwards. The curtain linings guide works through the options.
