Workroom Essentials
The components that go inside a curtain decide how it behaves. Heading tape sets the pleat, hooks set the hanging height, weights keep the hem sitting straight, and none of it is visible once the curtain is up.
Match the tape to the heading you intend and to the hardware you are hanging from, since the hook position differs between a pole with rings and a track with gliders.
Weights matter most on lightweight fabric, which otherwise lifts and kicks at the hem.
