What we sell
Ashley Wilde is a furnishing fabric supplier. We stock their cloth and sell it alongside the rest of our curtain fabrics, so what follows is what a retailer can usefully tell you: what we hold, and how to choose from it.
What we hold
We stock Ashley Wilde's woven, printed and sheer collections, across plains, textures and patterns. That covers the quiet textured plain you would choose for a curtain meant to recede, and the printed design you would choose for a window meant to lead the room.
If you are working from a particular design name or colour reference, the fastest route is to send it to us and we will check it against what we hold. Contact us with the reference and we will come back to you.
Composition and care for each cloth are given on that fabric's own product page.
Choosing from a supplier range
Where fabrics come from the same supplier range they are often designed to sit together, which makes it easier to pair a main curtain fabric with something quieter for a second window, a blind or cushions. Do not assume two designs coordinate because they share a range name, though. Ask us, or put the samples side by side.
If you are still deciding on the look rather than the cloth, curtains by style is a better place to start than a supplier name.
See it in your own light
Colour and texture are the two things a screen cannot settle, and fabric on screen may look different from fabric in the room. Order samples of your shortlist from the fabric samples page and look at them against the wall, in daylight and under lamps.
From fabric to curtains
Once the fabric is settled, the remaining decisions are the heading, the lining and the hardware. Made-to-measure curtains are made to the measurements you supply, and a free design consultation is the easiest way to work through all three at once.
