What we can help with
Tell us about the window and we will tell you what will work on it. Most questions are answered far faster when the measurements and a photograph come with them, so there is a short list at the foot of this page of what is useful to include.
However you write to us, we reply within one working day.
Choosing a pole, track or fabric
If you have not ordered yet and want help planning the window, ask for a free design consultation rather than using the form on this page. That route is set up for measurements, bay angles, heading choices and fabric decisions, and it puts your enquiry in front of the person who deals with them.
It is worth checking the FAQs and the measuring guide first, since between them they cover most of what we are asked.
An order you have already placed
Use the form on this page and include your order number and the email address you ordered with. Delivery, tracking, returns and the guarantee are all covered on the delivery and returns page, which is usually quicker than waiting for a reply.
Asking for samples
Fabric samples are free, up to eight at a time, with free postage within the UK. Name the fabrics on the form, or send your shortlist with a consultation request, and allow a few working days. Finish samples for poles and tracks come the same way, and the samples page explains what to look for once they arrive.
How to reach us
Email: sales@polesandcurtains.com
You can also use the form on this page or the free design consultation form. All three come through to the same people. We answer in writing, so the measurements, the fabric and whatever was agreed stay somewhere you can go back to.
What to include when you write
- The width of the window or the recess, in centimetres.
- The drop you want the curtains to finish at.
- The type and rough weight of the curtains, lined or unlined.
- Whether the wall above the window is masonry or plasterboard.
A photograph taken from inside the room, showing the whole window and the wall on each side of it, answers most of what we would otherwise have to ask you. If it is a bay, stand back far enough to get all the corners in.
