Wood Poles
Wood brings warmth and visual weight to a window, and reads more like furniture than hardware. Choose the range, finish, diameter and finial together so the pole looks deliberate rather than assembled from parts.
Finish is usually the first decision. A painted pole sits quietly against the wall, while a stained or natural timber picks up the tones of floors and joinery. Diameter follows the span and the weight of the curtain.
Rings, brackets and holdbacks should come from the same range wherever possible. Accessories are grouped by type.
